A-Levels & Level 3 Qualifications - Proposed Option Blocks - September 2027
The table below shows the proposed subject blocks for September 2027. These can also be found on the application forms. The blocks indicate where subjects fall on the timetable. It is important to look at the blocks when selecting your subjects. Choose three or four* subjects only. You can only study ONE subject in each block. This is due to timetabling as the lessons run at the same time within each block.

Not all students are eligible to take 4 subjects. Eligibility will be screened post GCSE results

The football academies (Block E) do not carry accreditation so all students who select the academy are required to select 3 other academic subjects from Block A-D
* The subjects listed above represent our current planned offer for September 2027 and are provided for guidance only. CBSC reserves the right to withdraw, amend, combine, or reschedule any course or qualification listed — including but not limited to A-Levels, BTECs, Cambridge Technicals, AAQs, and V Levels — at any time prior to or during the enrolment process. This may be necessary due to, among other factors: insufficient student numbers, staffing availability, changes to funding or government policy, changes to awarding body specifications or accreditation, or other operational considerations.
Where a course cannot run, we will inform affected applicants as early as possible and work with them to identify a suitable alternative course or pathway. Confirmation of a place on a specific course is not guaranteed until enrolment is finalised.
As V Levels are a new qualification currently being developed by the Department for Education and Ofqual, their final subject content, assessment structure, and availability remain subject to confirmation by these bodies. CBSC's V Level offer will be updated as further detail is published.
