Whatever your goal, we have a route to get you there.
When you join CBSC Sixth Form, you'll begin a two-year Level 3 study programme designed to stretch and prepare you for the next stage of your life. To secure your place, you'll need:
● 5 GCSEs at grades 9–4, including English and Mathematics
● The specific entry requirements for your chosen course(s), detailed in the table below
A-Levels are academic, examination-based Level 3 qualifications offered by schools, sixth forms and colleges nationwide. They are the traditional gold-standard route into university and higher education, and are highly valued for their depth of subject knowledge and rigour. A-Levels focus on academic subjects and are ideal for students who enjoy in-depth study and want to keep their options open for competitive university courses.
These qualifications are equivalent and standing to A-Levels but are assessed through a blend of coursework and examinations, often with a strong applied, real-world focus. They are a genuine and highly respected alternative route — opening doors to university, Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, or direct entry into employment. At CBSC, we offer courses worth either 60 credits (equivalent to one A-Level) or 120 credits (equivalent to two A-Levels), giving you the flexibility to build a programme that plays to your strengths.
