Past Exam Papers (BTEC, GCSE & A-Level)

This page provides a central location for easy access to past GCE and GCSE examination papers.

To search for your subject within the past paper archives and to download available copies of past papers in PDF, click the links below for each of the JCQCIC member awarding organisations that offer GCEs and GCSEs.

Searching for past papers

Past papers are searchable under a combination of the following categories: subject e.g. biology, qualification type e.g. GCSE, qualification specification (specific to awarding organisation), and examination series e.g. June 2012. The search order of these categories may differ across awarding organisations

Availability of past papers

Past papers for GCE and GCSE will comprise recent specifications. Papers for the most recent examination series may not be available immediately after the scheduled examination in order to allow schools and colleges to use these for testing purposes. Some awarding organisations will offer papers belonging to legacy specifications as well as papers for other qualification types. In addition, some papers may not be available online because of copyright restrictions. For further details about availability and for all other queries relating to past papers, the relevant awarding organisation should be contacted directly.
